VCT EMEA Stage 2: Road to Barcelona Kicks Off July 15
The 2026 VCT EMEA season enters its final, high-stakes chapter with the start of Stage 2. This stage serves as the final qualifying path to VALORANT Champions Shanghai and culminates in a major offline event in Barcelona.
🏆 The Road to Barcelona
The season concludes with a three-day weekend at the Olimpic Arena in Barcelona from August 28-30. This event will determine the regional champions and finalize the representatives heading to Champions.
📅 Tournament Structure
- Group Stage (July 15 - August 2): 12 teams are split into two groups of six. Matches occur Wednesday through Sunday, with two Best-of-Threes held daily.
- Play-Ins (August 6 - 16): The four qualified Challenger teams enter the bracket alongside lower-ranked VCT EMEA teams in a double-elimination format.
- Playoffs (August 20 - 23): Held at the Arena Stage in Berlin, the final eight teams battle in a double-elimination bracket for a spot in the Barcelona Finals.

- Berlin Playoffs (August 20-23): Tickets for the Arena Stage in Berlin go on sale July 8 at 18:00 CEST.
- Barcelona Finals: Tickets for the grand conclusion at the Olimpic Arena are currently available for purchase.
⚡️ Challenger Integration
Four teams from the regional Challengers circuit will earn their way into the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Play-Ins. These spots are decided through the ongoing Challengers EMEA Stage 3 and the upcoming Last Chance Qualifier, which begins on July 7. This adds an extra layer of volatility as underdog squads aim to disrupt the established elite. 🚀
