Upgrade Your GTA V Experience to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S
🎮 GTA V Next-Gen Upgrade Overview
Players currently owning Grand Theft Auto V on previous-generation hardware can upgrade to the enhanced PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.
🖥️ PlayStation Upgrade Path
- Owners of the PS4 physical or digital version can initiate the upgrade via the GTAV product page in the PlayStation Store.
- Physical disc owners must keep their original disc inserted in the PS5 console to verify ownership status.
🕹️ Xbox Upgrade Path
- Digital owners may download the Series X|S version directly through the Xbox Store product page.
- Physical disc owners are unable to claim a digital upgrade due to platform limitations.
- To install on Xbox, navigate to 'My Games and Apps,' select 'Full Library,' then 'Owned Games' to locate the Series X|S version for installation.
- Alternatively, remote installation is available via the Xbox home website by searching for the game and selecting the 'Install To' option for your registered device.
