Welcome to the midseason update for Overclocked! This patch focuses on tuning Legend balance, refreshing the weapon meta, and addressing community feedback through data-driven adjustments.
Legend Balancing
- Axle: To reduce battlefield clutter and predictable ultimate trajectories, we are swapping her Level 2 'Super Slider' upgrade for one that manages Nitro Gate cooldowns. Additionally, 'Kickstart' will now launch victims based on their own momentum rather than a fixed path.
- Ballistic: Re-entering the meta with two tactical charges, 50-damage overheat, and a team-focused 'sprint boost' ultimate. Overheat now applies only to the active weapon, allowing for tactical swapping.
- Pathfinder: Receiving a quality-of-life buff with two tactical charges, faster zipline delivery, and a new 'Landing Gear' upgrade for better air control and recovery. He also now tucks his legs while riding horizontal ziplines to reduce his profile.
- Seer: Enhanced with faster heartbeat sensor activation, a tactical slow to catch agile enemies, and an ultimate that performs an initial scan upon deployment, tracking cloaked enemies.
- Mad Maggie & Conduit: Both receive nerfs to their tactical cooldowns to curb excessive utility usage. Maggie’s ultimate now grants a sprint boost instead of raw speed, while Conduit’s 'Enduring Barrier' no longer regenerates through ring damage.
- Valkyrie: Removed landing speed improvements to ensure consistency with other Legends.
Weapons & Meta
- New Hop-Up: Introducing Executioner, a survival-focused hop-up for the Peacekeeper and Mastiff. Securing a knock triggers shield regeneration, helping you stay in the fight after a close-range kill.
- Weapon Shuffle: The Graffiti Mod is moving to the Volt and Flatline.
- Regional Insight: We are actively monitoring regional playstyle differences, noting that weapon popularity (like the high-performing Alternator) can vary significantly across different global player bases.
